Open up Task Manager, right click on your runescape, go to details, right click on runescape again, set affinity, turn off everything but cpu 1.įixed my shit! Changed CPU affinity to 1 and it works great. Other games that are eleven years old all run pretty much great. It doesn't really matter which one I use, FPS is more or less the same. I've tried different clients, including OSbuddy, Konduit, Runelite and the vanilla client. I would like to think my current laptop should be able to run osrs at a smooth FPS and I'm not quite sure what's causing this extremely frustrating issue. On less densely populated or smaller instanced areas I'm able to get a steady 40 FPS. My FPS fluctuates enormously depending on the location in-game.
